<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an electronic turnover device operated directly and continuously while being appealed to visual sense by using a page position display corresponding to the thickness of a paper document and a pointing device such as a mouse. CONSTITUTION:The pointing device 1 is a device such as a mouse, movable on a display screen and the position is detected. An electronic document storage means 2 stores a code data or the like outputted from a word processor. A linear page position display generating means 3 generates a drawing in a size proportional to a page number of the means 2. In the graph, frames by 7 pages are prepared as a bar graph, the present page, the preceding page and the next page are displayed in different colors. The present page is displayed to the left side of the bar graph and the head page number, the end page number and the page number on the mouse cursor are displayed on the upper side of the bar graph. A control means 4 displays the page position display obtained by the means 3 and when the cursor of the device 1 enters it, the corresponding page number is calculated and displayed on a display means 5.</p> |
