PURPOSE:To improved a response action without reducing the strength of a clapper sharply when the closing motion of the clapper is effected, by forming a recessed groove by etching in a place between the free end and the fixed end of a valve plate. CONSTITUTION:Both a suction valve plate 11 and a discharge valve plate 13 are made of a Swedish steel plate as thin as 0.2mm, and its external form, communication holes 24 and 25, and U-shaped slits 28 and 29 which are elements to form each of clappers 26 and 17, are formed by etching. In addition, each of recessed grooves 34 and 35 is formed in its one side of a space between each of the tip ends 30 and 31 and each of base section 32 and 33 of the clappers 26 and 27. Both the suction valve plate 11 and a discharge valve plate 13, which are formed as described above, are capable of improving the response action without reducing the strength of the clappers 26 and 27 sharply, when the closing motion of the clapper is effected. |
