<p>PURPOSE:To allow a swash plate to be energized so as to be held at a position where the capacity is minimum when a compressor is inoperative by providing an energizing member, which energize the swash plate to go forward, so as to hold a piston at a position where its stroke is minimum on the stoppage of the compressor. CONSTITUTION:When a compressor is inoperative, the oblique angle of a swash plate 25 will be an angle just before the compressor is brought to a stop. Whatever it may be, as the pressure Pc in a crank room is identical to the suction pressure Ps, a sleeve 21 is pushed forward along a drive shaft 10 by a coil spring 28 to rotate the swash plate 25 to the same direction with center at a connecting pin 19. Then when the sleeve 21 comes in contact with a stopper 29, the swash plate 25 is suspended at a position where the oblique angle is minimum, that is, the capacity is minimum. Accordingly, as the compressor can always be started next from a point where the loading is minimum, an impact on a clutch will be small, and noise is prevented.</p> |
