PURPOSE:To enhance transportability by a method wherein a laser main body is constituted of a double tube structure provided with several chambers accommodating a discharger, heat exchanger, and blower that can be taken into and out of the tube through one of the tube ends provided with sealing plates. CONSTITUTION:The laser main body 2 is constituted of a double tube consisting of an outer tube 3 and inner tube 4. A passage 5 and hollow portion 6 are provided, respectively, between the outer tube 3 and inner tube 4 and inside the inner tube 4. Sealing plates 7, 8 installed at both ends of the outer tube 3 and inner tube 4 support the laser main body 2 and seal off the passage 5. At the upper and lower locations within the passage 5, a discharger chamber 9, heater exchanger chamber 10, and a blower chamber 11 are positioned. The chambers intercommunicate with each other via the passage 5. A mixture of, for example, CO2, He, and N2 circulates through said chambers. A discharger, heat exchanger, or blower can be taken out of and into their respective chambers through one of the ends provided with sealing plates. |
