PURPOSE:To improve fixability and durability as a printing plate by using a compd. having chelate coordination power as a coloring agent. CONSTITUTION:The coloring agent, i.e., the compd. having the chelate coordination power and a resin and if necessary, a small amt. of a polarity controlling agent are kneaded and dispersed together with a small amt. of a carrier liquid to prepared a concd. toner. The toner is further diluted with a carrier liquid. The liquid developer obtd. in such a manner contains the compd. having the chelate coordination power as the toner component; therefore, this compd. makes chelate bonding with the metal existing on the surface of a lithographic printing negative such as zinc oxide photosensitive paper. As a result, the adhesive power of the toner to the negative, i.e., the fixability is improved and the printing plate having the high printing resistance to obviate the generation of image exfoliation by the tack of ink, etc. is obtd. |
