The toothbrush for simultaneous cleaning of teeth on both sides consists of a handle (1) with at least one brush-holder (3, 4) of U-cross section linked to it by a post (2), the side-pieces of which have brushes (6) which are oriented inwards. The handle (1) is designed to be pivotable in relation to the brush holder (3, 4) around an axis (7) which in the position of use lies parallel to the axis of the body and/or at least a brush holder (3 or 4) which in relation to the post (2) can be pivoted around an axis (8) which in the position of use, is parallel to the teeth. The brushes (6) are inclined forwards and backwards away from the post (2) at an alpha angle of preferably 3 - 5 degrees, as well as additionally or alternatively in the sliding direction of the tooth brush at a beta angle of preferably 8 - 10 degrees, seen from the middle of the post. |
