PURPOSE:To easily set position correcting information and to accurately decide the pattern by transferring the position correcting information concerning the prescribed part screen to the memory means corresponding to it as the position correcting information. CONSTITUTION:One object pattern 1 is divided and photographed to plural parts by a TV camera 2, the photographing signal is binary coded by the prescribed threshold at a binary circuit 3, the end is detected by a picture position detecting correcting circuit 9 and the correciting value from the prescribed reference position is obtained. At a window generating circuit 8, based upon the correcting value, the window area is formed. Further, the picture characteristic quantity of the object pattern in the window is extracted at a characteristic extracting circuit 10, the characteristic extracting quantity and the prescribed deciding value are compared and the correcting quantity is decided by a deciding circuit 12. By a control part 14, the threshold information, reference position information, the window and the deciding reference information are stored to a control information memory116, the information is given from a memory 16 to circuits 3, 7, 8 and 12 by a memory control circuit 15 and the position correcting information is easily set. |
