PURPOSE:To take a both-surface copy from the 1st page without reference to whether the total number of pages of originals which are sent in page order is odd or even by starting the both-surface copying operation with the 2nd original when the total number of pages is odd or with the 1st original when even. CONSTITUTION:An operator confirms the number of originals on a display device, etc., and inputs whether the number is even or odd to register data on it in a memory RAM 5. When the number of original pages is odd, an odd mode is decided by a microprocessor 1 and the 1st original is discharged on a one-surface copy basis. Reverse transfer is also performed for the 2nd the succeeding originals to perform both-surface copying operation. When the number of original pages is even, on the other hand, the odd mode is not entered and the both-surface copying operation is carried out from the 1st page. Therefore, when the originals are copied in the opposite page order, the both-surface copying operation is performed from the 1st page regardless of whether the number of the originals is odd or even. |
