PURPOSE:A rubber composition having low Mooney viscosity when it is unvulcanized, improved processing properties, workability and improved physical properties after vulcanization, comprising rubber, an inorganic filler and a specific polysulfide group-containing organopolysiloxane. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. natural rubber or any of various kinds of diene synthetic rubber is blended with (B) preferably 5-100pts.wt. inorganic filler, (C) 0.2-20pts.wt., preferably 0.5-10pts.wt. polysulfide group-containing organopolysiloxane shown by the formula III obtained by subjecting a compound shown by the formula I prepared by a reaction between sulfur chloride and a mercaptoalkyltrialkoxysilane and a mercaptoalkylalkoxysilane shown by the formula II(R<1>-R<3> are 1-4C alkyl; R<4> is 1-10C bifunctional hydrocarbon group; x is 2-6; n is 1-5) to a dehydrochlorination reaction and, further sulfur, zinc flower and a vulcanization accelerator. |
