Areas of application are devices which evaluate film in a plurality of spectral regions using transmitted light. According to the invention, the arrangement consists of a slot, a filter screen which is arranged below the original and has three filter layers corresponding to the transparency of the primary colours (fundamental colours), a lens system, and, arranged side by side, photo-sensitive receivers for the three primary colours, whose dimensions correspond to the distance between the scanner edges of two neighbouring pictures of the original. According to the invention, the photoelectric receivers are imaged on the original as three strips which are subjected to a colour analysis one after the other. <IMAGE>
