<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the durability of a disc brake, by providing friction members for a brake pad on both surfaces of an annular disc section in a brake disc, and by forming a cooling mechanism in a brake clamping section on the piston side. CONSTITUTION:Frictional members 25, 26 are provided entirely over and integrally with both surfaces 23, 24 of an annular disc section 21 in a brake disc 2 in a brake device 1, and are disposed between the outer surfaces of brake clamping members 39, 40 in a brake caliper 3. Further, the brake clamping members 39, 40 have sandwich structure composed of outer metal members 391, 401, inner metal members 392, 402 and heat insulators 393, 403. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent thermal from affecting upon a piston and the caliper, and to enhance the durability of the brake device.</p> |
