PURPOSE:To provide a cleaning liquid which removes the fats and oils, foreign matter, etc., on a metallic surface and provides the clean surface by consisting said liquid of an aq. soln. contg. specific concns. of an alkali metal salt, titanium phosphate, sodium nitrite and specific nonionic surface active agent. CONSTITUTION:This cleaning liquid for metallic plates consists of the aq. soln. of 1-200g/l at least one kind of the alkali metal salt, 0.1-40g/l titanium phosphate, 0.1-100g/l sodium nitrite, 0.1-100g/l ethylene oxide addition product of polypropylene glycol and 0.1-15g/l polyoxyethylene deriv. active agent and having >=10pH value. The liquid has high detergency such as degreasing capacity and can remove the abrasive grains, metallic powder, fats and oils, etc. entering the inside of the fine recesses on the surface of the metallic plate when used for continuous cleaning of an Fe-Ni alloy plate, etc. Better effect is obtd. by maintaining the soln. at about 40-80 deg.C and injecting the soln. to the surface of a traveling long-sized metallic strip from the nozzles inclined therewith. |
