PURPOSE:The titled apparatus capable of preventing the reduction of Pd(2), etc., and deposition thereof on the apparatus wall surface and shortening the starting time, by detecting the aldehyde concentration in a specific solution recycled from a stripper to an oxygen absorption column and controlling the concentration at a specific value or below. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus for oxidizing an unsaturated hydrocarbon which a raw material with oxygen to synthesize the corresponding oxygen-containing compound while recycling a catalyst solution containing a composite catalyst capable of coordination bonding oxygen to the unsaturated hydrocarbon to form the respective oxygen complex and unsaturated hydrocarbon complex to an oxygen absorption column 1, synthesis column 2 and stripper 3. In the apparatus, a concentration detector 16 of an aldehyde which is a by-product is provided in a line 15 for recycling the catalyst solution from the stripper 3 to the oxygen absorption column 1, and a system for recycling the catalyst solution between the synthesis column 2 and the stripper 3 when the above-mentioned concentration is high to remove the aldehyde in the above- mentioned catalyst solution is provided at the same time to control the aldehyde concentration in the catalyst solution at a specific value or below and to shorten the starting time. |
