PURPOSE:To enable the equimagnification sensor provided with photoelectric conversion elements by arranging individual electrodes, common electrodes, and a photoconductive film consisting of mainly a specified azo dye. CONSTITUTION:In an image read equimagnification sensor in which a large number of individual electrodes, common electrodes and photoconductors are arranged flatly, the photoconductor is composed of an azo organic dye selected out of a specified group. Some examples of such specified group are shown by formula. The thickness of an electrode film is 5-0.05mum, more preferably, 4-1mum. For an insulating resin, epoxy resin, acrylic resin, polyamide resin, polyimide resin, butylal resin, and polyestel resin can be used. Accordingly, the sensor capable of the largescale film formation is possible and the utilization for an equimagnification sensor of long measurement (meter size), and one that has good S/N ratio (light current/dark current) characteristic can be obtained.
