PURPOSE:To put ink in a proper viscosity range, by controlling the temp. of a head part on the basis of the viscosity detected by a viscosity detector and the temp. detected by a temp. detector. CONSTITUTION:A viscosity detector 5 and a temp. detector 6 are arranged in front of a nozzle 4, and the viscosity and temp. of the ink supplied to the nozzle 4 are measured to calculate a control signal from the table set to a temp. control part 7 and a heating/cooling part 8 is driven to heat or cool the ink to a temp. imparting proper viscosity. By setting the change in viscosity due to the evaporation of unused ink or the change in the temp. thereof to the temp. control part 7 by using temp. as a parameter, the viscosity of the ink injected from the nozzle 4 is controlled. |
