<p>PURPOSE:To make the air for scavenging the insides of insulators unnecessary and to enhance the efficiency of a main exhaust fan by passing part of exhaust gas exhausted from a Dwight-Lloyd type sintering apparatus during sintering through a filter to remove dust and moisture and by feeding the cleaned gas to the insulator chamber of an electrostatic dust precipitator for exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas exhausted from the wind boxes 2 of a Dwight-Lloyd type sintering apparatus 1 during sintering is collected in the main exhaust pipe 3, and after dust is removed from the exhaust gas with an electrostatic dust precipitator 4, the exhaust gas is sent to a chimney 6 with a main exhaust fan 5. At this time, part of the exhaust gas from the wind boxes 2 is passed through a filter 12 to remove dust and moisture and the cleaned gas is fed to the chamber 8 of the dust precipirator 4 contg. insulators 9 for suspending a discharge electrode through a pipe 10 with a fan 11 to scavenge the insides of the insulators and to keep the inner surfaces of the insulators clean. Since the air is not used to scavenge the insides of the insulators, the capacity of the main exhaust fan can be reduced.</p> |
