PURPOSE:To improve the resolution without miniaturizing the composite element of a line sensor by dividing the light flux in the rear stage of a projection lens and projecting and image-forming the divided light flux part respectively to separate line sensors. CONSTITUTION:A lens 2 is arranged opposite to an original 1, and the image of a read line-shaped part 3 on the original is projected and image-formed to three line sensors 6-8 through two plane mirrors 4 and 5. Plane mirrors 4 and 5 are divided into two with the plane including the line-shaped part 3 and a lens optical shaft L as the border, inclined to 45 deg. in the reverse direction mutually to a line-shaped part respectively and both parties are arranged so that the intersection to cross in the cross-shaped manner can be located on the light axis of the lens 2. As this result, an area AB out of the line-shaped part 3 is projected and image-formed to the sensor 6, BC is projected and image- formed to the sensor 7 similarly and CD is projected and image-formed to 8 similarly respectively. |
