PURPOSE:An external preparation for the skin, preventing chapped skin, improving it, preventing slack of the skin and vanishing of luster, having high preventing effects on aging, containing glycyrrhetinic acid derivative and an extract of mammal liver or spleen with water. CONSTITUTION:An external preparation for the skin containing 0.05-0.5wt% one or more selected from glycyrrhetinic acid and its derivatives (e.g., glycyrrhizic acid, methyl glycyrrhizate or glyceryl glycyrrhetinate) and 0.01-0.5wt% extract of mammal liver or spleen with water. The extract, for example, is obtained by grinding frozen fresh bovine spleen, extracting the ground spleen with hot water at >=60 deg.C for >=1hr, heating it further at >=80 deg.C for >=10min, filtering, concentrating, removing protein with ethanol and carrying out ultrafiltration. The external preparation for the skin may be in any dosage form such as toilet lotion, milky lotion, cream, ointment, etc. |
