PURPOSE:To reliably prevent generation of an overload in addition to elimination of sensors serving to detect a limit position, by a method wherein, during operation for regulation of attitude of an onvehicle equipment, a limit position is automatically set based on a position where an overload is detected. CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle equipped with a seat rotating mechanism, a tilt steering mechanism, and a telescopic steering mechanism as onvehicle equipments, motors M1-M3 are mounted as a driving source of each mechanism. Further, potentiometers PM1-PM3, detecting attitude of their respective mechanisms, and attitude set switches SW1-SW4, instructing regulation of attitude of their respective mechanism, are provided. During operation for regulation of attitude, a CPU controls such that, when memory of a limit position is absent, attitude, returned by a given amount from a position of attitude of a device on a vehicle based on the attitude, is set as a limit position, and when the memory of the limit position for memory is present, the motors M1-M3 are brought into a stop when the position of the onvehicle equipment is moved to a stored limit position. |
