<p>The installation for making tubes for handles of kitchen scourers and similar, consists of (a) a station for forming the tube, comprising a feed position for glass fibre yarns, a position for impregnating the yarns with resin, a guide position for guiding the impregnated yarns by rollers, and a position for winding the yarns on a rotating core, (b) a drying station comprising a transporter for the cores carrying tubes; (c) a demoulding station for removing tubes from the cores; and (d) a finishing station for cutting the tubes into convenient lengths and either varnishing of sheathing.</p> |
