Normal paraffin whose carbon number is 10-25 is separated from gas oil. Normal paraffin is adsorbed on sieve, and residue gas which isn't adsorbed flows out from the column. The purge soln. is n- hexane. The adsorbed normal paraffin is desorbed, and is recovered. The supplied gas is diluted with n-hexane to be adsorbed below 700≦̸F. Separation of normal paraffin is performed in constant pressure. This constant pressure is 15-65psia.
