The workbench comprises a platform (1), removable legs (2, 3) and a ladder (7) mounted pivotably on the platform (1). This ladder (7) may be locked in a multitude of stop positions, allowing the easy transportation of the workbench in a position folded under the platform (1), facilitating access to the platform (1) in the position illustrated and enlarging the work surface of the platform (1) in a horizontal position. <IMAGE>
