Machine for producing patterned cardboard articles in particular folding boxes with a bed plate (11) on which a grooved plate (16) and/or the workpiece (17) made of cardboard material are firmly clamped by the fact that the bed plate and the grooved plate consist of porous, and therefore air-permeable hard materials, such as for example chipboard, and by the fact that a pneumatic underpressure is produced under the bed plate in order to effect firm clamping, and that for making the grooved lines (25) on the workpiece a tool (19, 22, 46, 54) is arranged on a transport device (12, 14, 15), in such a way that any point of the workpiece (17) can be covered. In addition, other tools can be arranged on the transport device, namely an end milling cutter for the production of the grooves in the plate (16), a marking tool and/or cutting tool for cutting-out the pattern. Protection is claimed, independently of the main claim, for the use of porous material for the plate on which a workpiece is firmly clamped by pneumatic underpressure. |
