For ground-working appliances equipped with tines, a lateral guidance of the stream of earth is ensured in that rotatably and pivotably arranged discs are assigned to the tines arranged in the edge region. These discs, which can shift aside in reaction to an excessive stream of earth and can thereby prevent blockages, provide a highly flexible lateral limitation which, depending on the design of the ground-working appliance, can also take the form of a continuous limitation by means of discs arranged in succession. The discs designed as hollow discs are set obliquely, so that they automatically move back again into the respective predetermined position and, as described, prevent blockages by shifting aside. <IMAGE>
