<p>A shaped article comprising a coherent matrix comprising inorganic particles of a size of 20A &cir& o-1000 mu m with gap grading with two or several particle sizes, the particles being homogeneously arranged with at least particles of one of the sizes being densely packed and the densely packed particles occupying at the most 90% of the volume occupied by the particles, organic polymeric material in the interparticle void, the molecular weight of the polymer being at least 5000, preferably at least 10,000, most preferably at least 15,000 g/mole, and optionally comprising additional bodies which are fibers and/or have at least one dimension larger than 1000 mu m.</p> |
