The sensor has a drive unit for rotating a measuring element (1), having a determined mass, and a detector unit (3) for determining a shift of the measuring element, if this in the rotated condition has a speed component (U), relative to the rotation, based on a force applied from the outside on the measuring element. The shift is produced by the speed component and the angular speed (Omega) of the rotation. The measuring element is located at a movable body, and a force or an inertial force caused by accelerations of the movable body, reacts as an external force on the measuring element.
