PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new recombinant protein having function to induce apoptosis and useful as, e.g. an anticancer drug. SOLUTION: This protein is a recombinant protein, (i) a protein having an amino acid sequence expressed by formula I or II, or (ii) a protein having an amino acid sequence wherein one or several amino acid(s) is (are) deleted, substituted or added in the amino acid sequence expressed by formula I or II, and having serine/threonine kinase activity. Serine/threonine kinase is preferably produced by culturing transformants transformed by a recombinant vector having a DNA encoding the protein as the component (i) or (ii) in a medium and collecting the resultant serine/threonine kinase from the cultured product. |
