PURPOSE:To enable an inverter to easily cope with the change of the capacity, by providing the inverter with connecting terminals to which increasingly set switching elements can be connected. CONSTITUTION:An inverter 6 consists of a control section 1, a three phase switching element module 2, a DC power source 3, parallel connecting terminals 4, and output terminals 5, and the control section 1 is connected to the module 2 and to the parallel connecting terminals 4. The chopping of the DC power source 3 is performed by signal from the control section 1 through the module 2, and current is fed from the output terminals 5. The parallel connecting terminals 4 are connected to the control section 1 and to the DC power source 3 and to the output terminals 5, and an increasingly set three phase switching element module is connected in parallel with the module 2. Then, by connecting the increasingly set module to the inverter 6, and by the capacity, the capacity of the inverter 6 can be increased. |
