摘要 A process is proposed which serves for coating and impregnating rotationally symmetric electrical components, which have wire coils, such as rotors or stators, with synthetic resins. The synthetic resins used can be both powder coatings and reactive liquid resins. The electrical component, after a preceding heating, is dipped into the impregnating agent to the extent that only the wire coils are reached by the impregnating agent and the component is simultaneously rotated. As a result it is achieved that the coating only proceeds where it is necessary, that is on the armature stampings having the wire coils, but that the commutator with its bars and the axle are not coated. It is particularly advantageous for the powder coating if the heating of the component is carried out by passing a current through the wire coils so that the sections of the component to be coated heat up to the desired temperature by this resistive heating. When reactive liquid resin is used, it has proved to be more expedient to carry out the heating in an oven or inductively.
