摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound at a high reaction rate and in high selectivity, by oxidizing a compound having olefinic carbon.carbon double bond with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a heteropolyacid as a catalyst and further a compound of elements selected from boron, phosphorus, etc. CONSTITUTION:A compound having olefinic carbon.carbon double bond as a raw material is oxidized with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a catalyst consisting of two components of at least one of heteropolyacid and/or a salt thereof as the first component and at least one of a compound of elements selectd from boron, phosphorus, arsenic, antimony and bismuth as the second component as a catalyst to afford the aimed compound. Anhydrous hydrogen peroxide is preferred, and the amount thereof to be used is preferably 0.2-2mol based on one mol raw material compound. Preferably, the amount of the first component in the above-mentioned catalyst is 1.0X10<-4>-1.0X10<-2>mol based on one mol raw material, and the amount of the second component is 1.0X10<3>-1.0mol based on one mol raw material.
