PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of component parts and uniformalize the quantity of injected fuel, by using the charging coil, switching element and discharge coil of a drive circuit for electrostrictive actuators, in common to the cylinders of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A switching element So and a coil L1, which are used in common to electrostrictive actuators 1-4, are provided in the actuator charging portion of a drive circuit 11. A coil L2, which is used in common to the actuators 1-4, is provided in the actuator discharge portion of the drive circuit 11.All the actuators are simultaneously charged. Only a prescribed actuator is discharged. Since the discharge is sure to be performed through the coil L2,a response irregularity never arises due to the oil in the discharge. Since the charging is sure to be performed through the coil L1, a response irregularity does not arise. |
