PURPOSE:To save the consumption of water to be fed from outside and fuel to heat water by heat melted snow water by thermal medium passing through the solar heat collector and discharging the heat melted snow water to the snow on the roof. CONSTITUTION:The thermal medium stored in the water tank 6 flows through the feed pipe 21 into the solar heat collector 2 in which it is heated by absorbing the solar heat, and returns through the return pipe 22 to the water tank 6. Part of the snow on the roof melts and flows through the water collecting pipe 26 to be stored in the reservoir tank 27, and it is heated upon exchanging heat with said thermal medium while it passes from the water outlet 30 through the connecting pipe 42 to the heat exchanging part 39 of the water tank 6. The heat melted snow water passes through the hot water pipe 44 to be discharged out of the sprinkler of the sprinkler pipe 9 so as to melt and remove the snow covering the roof 4. The melted now is stored in the reservoir tank 27 via the water collecting pipe 26 as described in the above. Therefore, snow can be melted without consuming much utility water.
