PURPOSE:To enable to employ ultra-thin resin film sheet as the material of a cup and at the same time to efficiently manufacture a deep drawn cup by a method wherein a cup with pleat-like ruggedness is formed in two stages of preforming and final forming. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a circular film sheet is set on the film seating surface 8 of a bottom force 3. At this moment, a top force 4 is lowered toward the bottom force 3 so as to prepress the film sheet with the film-seating surface 8 and the film pressing surface 10 of the top force 4 in order to obtain a pleat- like rugged and curved surface 2B. Secondly, the protruding member 13 of the top force 4 is lowered by means of an air cylinder 16 so as to pull the preformed film sheet off the film-seating surface 8 of the bottom force 3 into a film-forming hole 9 in order to form the sheet into a cylindrical cup with pleat-like ruggedness 2A. |
