PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preservation system for keeping vegetables fresh while suppressing the quality deterioration of the vegetables by utilizing the characteristics of an oxygen enrichment membrane for preserving the vegetables in an oxygen reduced atmosphere. SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises a suction pump for sucking air from a vegetable container through the oxygen enrichment membrane into the outside of the refrigerator and a moisture conditioning member for absorbing excessive moisture from the vegetable container when the vegetable container is in a too much humid condition and for releasing the absorbed moisture into the vegetable container when the vegetable container is in a low humid condition.
