PURPOSE:To ensure physiological safety and to improve space articulation of an operator by providing the controller which can adapt directivity and its variable constants to the specific hearing loss characteristic and the using state. CONSTITUTION:Microphone arraies 21A and 21B of a hearing aid are pointed in the direction of a sound source, adjusting volumes 32A, 32B, 33A, and 33B of frequency characteristic compensating circuits 31A and 31B are set in the direction in whic their bands can be maximized, and gain adjusters 36A and 36B are gradually ascended from the minimum position. When the volumes 32A, 32B, 33A and 33B reach the permissible level of subjective roundness of a user under the give environment, they are changed and the position in which articulation can be maximized is decided. In terms of stereo, such operation is executed at the one ear side, and th similar operation is also executed at he two ears side, and finally the position of the gain adjusting volumes 36A and 36B is obtained in which a user's subjective sound image is located in the center of his head. |
