PURPOSE:The titled road sign material having improved adhesiveness, workability and stain resistance, requiring no primer in application, obtained by blending a viscous resin with a fixed amount of a specific etylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. viscous resin(e.g., acid modified aliphatic petroleum resin) is blended with 3%n50pts.wt. ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having 15-45wt% vinyl acetate content, 500-3,000g/10min melt index and 70-110 deg.C softening point and other components, to give the aimed composition. Preferably the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin has 3,000-6,000 number-average molecular weight and <=3.5 dispersion degree of molecular weight. |
