<p>PURPOSE:To complete a high function IC in a short time by deciding an IC circuit combined integrally with a standard cell and a gate array, and then wiring a chip to form an IC having the prescribed circuit characteristics. CONSTITUTION:A standard cell chip 1 which performs high function circuit characteristics, and a gate array chip 2 which performs logic calculating function are associated as a chip. Metal wirings are formed on the chip 1 at the state that the IC circuit is decided to form a high circuit characteristic unit, metal wirings are formed on the chip 2 to form a logic calculating circuit. Then, the chip 1 and the chip 1 are wire bonded to be electrically connected. Thus, the circuits of the chips 1, 2 are organically coupled to become a circuit having the prescribed circuit characteristics.</p> |
