FIELD: radio-electronic technologies, possible use for engineering principally new small-sized machines for surface-mounting manufacturing. ^ SUBSTANCE: method for orientating variously shaped products during transportation includes placement of row series products in receipt zone for later transference thereof to common carrier by wetted surface of serial set of transference elements. Aforementioned surface is made with possible rotation. Each transference element is manufactured with possible alternating motion for receiving products and mounting or fastening thereof in corresponding positions on common carrier. The unit for receipt and transference of products is preliminarily moved to wetting unit placement zone, where all of its surfaces are wetted with water. Then, the unit for receipt and transference of products is shifted to zone of placement of row series forming unit, where receipt of products is conducted. In receipt zone before each receipt of products by wetted surface of transference element depending on orientation of product being received in architectural composition on common carrier, simultaneous rotation of whole set of transference elements for corresponding angle around the axis of rotation is performed. Then, product is received on wetted surface of transference element with following simultaneous reversion of all transference elements with products to original position. Device for orientating variously shaped products during transportation thereof contains unit for forming row series and unit for receipt and transference of row series products in form of a set of transference elements with liquid-wetted surface with possible rotation, which are positioned in a common body, unit for wetting transference elements and common carrier. Introduced additionally to zone of positioning of row series forming unit is a step drive, which is functionally connected to unit for receipt and transference of row series products with possible rotation of each transference element in a set of transference elements around their axes of rotation. Each transference element is manufactured with possible alternating motion for receipt of products and mounting or fixing of products in corresponding positions on common carrier. ^ EFFECT: increased reliability of operation of small-sized surface-mounting devices with simultaneous increase of speed parameters. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg
