Composition comprises a food medium for animal feed and microgranules adsorbed on and/or mixed with a mineral support or a vegetable base, where the microgranule comprises an active vegetable extract containing super oxide dismutase and the extract is microencapsulated in a fat based liposoluble agent. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of the composition comprising melting the liposoluble agent to obtain a liquid, depositing the liquid on the active vegetable extract containing the superoxide dismutase to obtain a microgranules, adsorbing and/or mixing the microgranules on and/or with a mineral support, adsorbing and/or mixing the adsorbed and/or mixed microgranules on and/or with a vegetable base, and mixing the adsorbed and/or mixed microgranules with the food medium for animal feed; (2) a raw material for animal feed and/or veterinary purpose comprising the composition; (3) a composition for veterinary purpose comprising the composition or the raw material and an excipient suitable for oral use as animal feed; (4) a premixing of a food additive for animals comprising the composition and a food additive such as growth promotors, bacterial floras, vitamins and other antioxidants and/or trace elements for animal; and (5) an animal feed comprising the composition, the premix or the raw material.
