<p>NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I {X is halogen; R is alkyl or group shown by the formula II [R3 is alkyl, cycloalkyl or (substituted) benzyl]; R1 is H or lower alkyl; R2 is R1 or OH-protecting group; group shown by the formula III is single bond or double bond; with the proviso that when formula III is single bond, Q is OH, and when formula III is double bond, Q is H, and when R2 is acyl, group shown by the formula III is double bond} and its salts. EXAMPLE:2-Chloro-4-ethoxycarbonyl-4-hydroxy-5-(6-methoxycarbon-yl-2-he xenyli dene)2-cylopentenone. USE:A drug and an antitumor agent. PREPARATION:A 2-halo-4,4-substituted-2-cyclopentenone shown by the formula II (R2 is H or OH-protecting group) is reacted with an aldehyde derivative shown by the formula IV (R1 is lower alkyl) in a proper solvent in the presence of a base such as organic lithium, etc., at -70-20 deg.C for 10-60min to give a compound shown by the formula I where R1 is lower alkyl.</p> |
