摘要 The arrangement and shape of the magnet circuit using permanent magnets and movable pole elements have been described in several patent applications. By means of the permanent magnets, low-loss bearing magnets are aimed at and by means of the movable polar elements, in conjunction with a gap control, fast-acting magnetic circuits are aimed at. The application of the permanent magnets also provides advantages for the design of linear synchronous motors with a high power density and low material expenditure; it permits, for example, also the so-called double excitation. Motors of this kind are also suitable for the simultaneous production of (controlled) bearing and propulsion forces. When permanent excitation is introduced it is important that the overall outlay for the magnetic circuit (overall mass of the magnets attached to the vehicle) remains limited, that the mass of the permanent magnets itself is kept small and that the outlay for the bearing force control circuit is small. The solution proposed here permits substantial improvements over known arrangements with regard to these aims. An improvement of the properties for the bearing (propulsion) behaviour is achieved accompanied by limited overall outlay and compact design for rail and bearing (propulsion) component.
