<p>A tyre protector includes a puncture-sealing layer arranged on its inner surface. The puncture-sealing layer is made from interwoven flexible cords and is treated with rubber (latex). Owing to the flexibility of the interlaced cords and the elasticity of the rubber, once a tapered object perforates the tyre protector and the puncture-sealing layer, the rubber-treated cords will work in order to hold the tapered object tightly so as to prevent the air contained in the tyre from escaping.</p> |
