PURPOSE:To generate the signal similar to the rotation signal of a rotor, by electronically forming a rotation signal following the rotation of the rotor without using an actual rotor. CONSTITUTION:When a speed of rotation is set to a speed-of-rotation setting means M1, A fundamental signal output means M2 functions so as to output timing signals being first and second signals upon the reception of the sped-of- rotation of the means M1. A rotation signal generation means M3 receives the speed of rotation sent from the means M1 and the first and second signals sent form the means M2 and generates a rectangular pulse with pulse amplitude in a positive direction proportional to the speed of rotation when the first signal is inputted. The peak value of at least the rectangular part in the positive direction of the generated signal is changed as one proportional to the speed of rotation and the generation timing of a generation signal can be easily determined by the first and second signals outputted by the means m and, therefore, the signal G extremely similar to the rotation signal of an actual rotor is easily formed.
