PURPOSE:Deodorizing yarn suitable for sanitary napkin, underwear, etc., obtained by blending a solution of a fiber-forming substance in a solvent with a ferrous compound activated and stabilized with ascorbic or citric acid to give a spinning stock solution and spinning the stock solution. CONSTITUTION:A solution of a fiber-forming substance such as preferably acetone-soluble cellulose acetate, etc., in a solvent is blended with a ferrous compound such as ferrous sulfide, ferrous chloride, etc., activated with ascorbic acid such as l-ascorbic acid, etc., and/or citric acid and stabilized to give a spinning stock solution and the spinning stock solution is spun to give the aimed deodorizing yarn. |
