PURPOSE:To improve ease of attachment and maintenance by detachably joining a holder which bears the driven bevel gear side end of a relay shaft 23 to an opening formed at one end surface on the driven bevel gear side of the relay shaft in a gear case. CONSTITUTION:In a gear case 15, the front end surface is opened with an opening 16 and closed with a rear end wall 17. On the other hand, a driven bevel gear 24 is spline-fitted over the forward end periphery of the relay shaft 23. The relay shaft 23 is at its front end supported with a holder 25. In this manner, the relay shaft supported at its front end with the holder 25 is inserted from the front into the opening 16 of the gear case 15 and the tail part of the relay shaft 23 is shaft-supported by interposing a bearing 19 in a shaft hole 18 at the rear end wall 17 of the gear case 15. Further a cylindrical part 26 of the holder 25 is fitted into the inner periphery of the opening 16 of the gear case 15 and the holder 25 is bolted 31 to the end surface of the opening 16.
