PURPOSE:To avoid the breakdown of an integrated circuit IC set at the IC card reader side by using a ground terminal having an accelerated contact time point and a delayed separation time point compared with contact terminals excluding the ground terminal. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal head 12 is moved down, the tip of a ground terminal TG has first contact with a contact C5 at the ground side of an IC card reader 1. Then the terminal TG is pushed inside by a distance (d) against the force of a spring 13. Thus other contact terminals T have contact with the contacts of the reader 1 excluding the contact C5. When the terminals T and TG are separated from each contact, the tips of the terminals T are first separated from those contacts. Then the tip of the terminal TG is separated from the contact C5. |
