HIGH PRESSURE DISCHARGE LAMP

摘要

PURPOSE:To sustain stable lighting by performing high frequency lighting of high pressure discharge lamp comprising a light emission tube having a projection at the order between the tube end section and the central section of tube through frequency modulation system. CONSTITUTION:The tube end section is not simply spherical but a projection 10 is provided along the circumference of tube at the order between the tube end section and the central portion of tube where the dimension Lr2 of curved face section is 6mm. A high pressure discharge lamp comprising a light emission tube having a projection at the order between the end section and the central section of tube is high frequency lighted through frequency modulation system to avoid acoustic resonance which may occur upon lighting resulting in a high pressure discharge lamp where unstable arc will never occur due to acoustic resonance.
