PURPOSE:To photograph as a CGA is connected regardless of the on-state or the off-state of the CGA by providing the bypass circuit of a CGA circuit, linking it to the switch of the CGA and switching a photographing image transmission system to a character overlapping circuit when the switch is turned on or to the bypass circuit when the switch is turned off. CONSTITUTION:A switch 28 for the whole of the CGA makes a power source on or off and a photographing image signal system is switched linking with the switch. When the switch 28 is set on the C side of it, that is, the CGA is on, a CGA power source 66 is connected to a power source 65 from a tape recorder and a circuit is made to be a state to operate and at the same time, the output and input 61 and 63 of photographing image signal are connected to a character adding circuit. When the switch 28 is set on the D side, that is, the CGA is off, the power source 65 from the tape recorder and the CGA power source 66 are disconnected resulting the termination of the operation of the circuit and the signal path of the character adding circuit is interrupted but it is possible to transmit a photographing signal between a video camera and the tape recorder because the output and input 61 and 63 of the photographing signal are directly connected to the circuit.
