PURPOSE:To aim at the prevention of abnormal paper feeding such as oblique motion and side shifting in sheet paper, by installing a cover detachably installed in the latter half part of a cassette box and a side regulating plate, being higher than a surface of the said cover and sticking a frictional soft material to its inner surface, in the first half part. CONSTITUTION:There are provided with a cover 4 which has a clearance slightly in a gap with an upper surface of sheet paper 3 and is detachably installed in the latter half part of a box 1, and a side regulating plate 7 which rises from a bottom surface of the box 1 and guides both sides of the sheet paper 3. In this side regulating plate 7, a frictional soft material 8 of foaming erethane or cork, etc., is stuck to the inside surface. When force in an oblique direction to a paper feeding direction is added to the sheet paper 3, the paper 3 is pressed to one side of the side regulating plate 7 but it is pushed back without curling over a surface of the side regulating plate 7 by frictional resistance against the frictional soft material 8, while force in a normal direction with a curve of the paper is regulated by the cover 4, thus a normal paper feeding direction is maintainable.
