PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity of a photosensitive body by forming an electrostatic charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer each having a specified composition on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:A laminate type electrophotographic sensitive body high in sensitivity can be obtained by forming on the conductive substrate the charge generating layer containing the polycyclic quinone type pigment represented by formula (I), and the charge transfer layer containing the hydrazone derivative represented by formula (II) in which each of R1, R2 is H, halogen, optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy, such aryloxy, or such amino; each of R3, R4 is optionally substituted alkyl or such aryl; each of R5, R6, R7, R8 is H, halogen, optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy, such aryloxy, or such amino; and n is 0 or 1. |
